Learner information

Policies in plain language.

These public summaries reflect the January 2026 unified learner policy pack. Registered candidates receive the applicable full policies, procedures and forms.

Health, safety & environment

Assessments must take place safely. Candidates follow site induction, PPE and emergency rules; assessors may stop an assessment if conditions are unsafe.

Safeguarding & Prevent

We protect learners, staff and visitors from harm, abuse, exploitation and radicalisation. Concerns are reported promptly to the designated safeguarding lead.

Fair assessment & reasonable adjustments

Assessment standards stay consistent while reasonable adjustments and learner support remove avoidable disadvantage. Tell your assessor or support team early.

Internal quality assurance

Assessment decisions and evidence are sampled to protect consistency, authenticity and national standards. Sampling levels can vary and are about quality, not the learner.

Complaints & feedback

Email support@ok4uk.academy. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days, investigate usually within 10 working days, provide a written outcome and offer senior review.

Assessment appeals

First discuss the decision with your assessor. You may then submit a written appeal for independent internal review and, where applicable, follow the awarding organisation’s external process.

Equality, diversity & inclusion

Discrimination, bullying and harassment are not accepted. Learners have equal access to support and assessment, with reasonable adjustments where appropriate.

Data protection

Candidate information is used for registration, assessment, support, quality assurance and certification, and shared only where there is a lawful and necessary reason.

Teaching, learning & assessment

Candidates receive clear requirements, feedback and professional support. Evidence may include observations, discussions, questions, documents, images and witness statements.

Responsible use of AI

AI may support learning and understanding, but must not create or falsify assessment evidence. Submitted evidence must remain authentic and based on the candidate’s own work.
